Sorry this took so long, it’s just that life happened. I have to do bits and pieces of projects between work, kids, ministry, home, and so on which is not my preference, but simply the way it is! I actually don’t like to stop any project mid-way and prefer to finish if I can, but like I said before, my life is busy and I tend to take on too much…anyway…enough about that…here’s what we ended up with:
I found this pie cabinet on Craigslist from a lady in Scranton for $75 and it was a birthday gift for me…I saw great potential as I really love furniture! I was hoping to use it for storing towels and such in the bathroom as our linen closet is not in the bathroom, but in the hallway. So…the stickers were removed, cabinet sanded, primed and painted. I am loving on white right now so white it was. I spray painted the hinges (more on my spray paint fascination later). I got some adorable knobs from my Uncle Dave during my last visit to Lancaster…they worked perfect. I call them my “brain” knobs as they resemble this! I then took wrapping paper and placed this on the back of the shelves to add some color. I don’t know how well you can see that, but it gives it some style. I used a back and white toile paper. I then took off the plastic which covered the doors and replaced it with chicken wire. I really like how it looks! It is a great height and it is a skinny cabinet which works well in the bathroom! A place for towels, linens and other necessities! I hope you like it, too. I always see the potential in ugly furniture…this is case in point.

|Aren’t these crackle knobs cool?|
|So happy about how it turned out! Fuels my desire to do more!!!|
|I even have some room on top for displaying favorite things
such as my family photos!
