Recycled Craft Idea

I was trying to figure out what I could do with all the wallpaper scraps I had left after I redid Ana’s dresser and this is what I found while searching the net:

Country Living

?
This is a mural made of wallpaper scraps!  Isn’t it cute?  I thought this may work so I created my own version.  I took an old frame I found in the basement and took out the print while keeping the cardboard backing aside.  I covered the cardboard with white burlap and then cut out a tree trunk and branches from the wallpaper.  I glued the tree on the canvas with a glue gun.  I then cut out a bunch of leaves from all different patterns of wallpaper and then glued these on as well.  I then added buttons just for fun. ? I hung the
picture in Ana’s room and I am lovin’ it!  It was easy, fun and a great addition to her room.  Check it out:

So easy!  Anyone can do this!  What home projects have you been up to on these snow days?

  1. Too cute, I love the wallpaper trees, but wouldn’t want to commit to putting them on my wall ( i’m a fraidy cat) but i never thought of putting one in a frame

  2. Skylar,
