In the midst of the snow and bitter cold of Northeast Pennsylvania, I am craving sun, flip flops and memory makin’ so I decised to share some favorite photos from last summer with you to also help get you in the mood for warmer times ahead. Last year, we vacationed in Ocean City, Maryland which has become a favorite place for us to go. Everything you could dream of doing is there and it is only 6 hours from Honesdale which works well with the kiddos. We stay in a community called Ocean Pines and I highly rcommend it for families – there are several pools, parks, trails, and so on just a short drive from the beach and at great rates. Just ask me and I would be glad to tell you more. Here’s some of my favorite photos from last year’s trip:

Cute Craft Idea For Little Girls
I found an idea on a blog that I follow the other day so I decided to give it a try. The idea is to create a place to store and display your little girls’ hair bows and pretties. That is just what I need! Here is my finished product:
?
Love it! Now I can keep track of those million barettes and clips! All it took was a piece of wood, a glue gun and some left over fabric and ribbon! |
?
?
Perfect for my curly Q girl Ana! |

There’s my Emma modeling the finished product! |

My favorite barette – isn’t it great? In honor of Ana’s love of doughnuts, we picked this up at the Mother’s Day Street Fair in York, PA! Hard to believe it hasn’t gotten lost yet! |
?
Here’s the reason why I need it:

This is my Ana Elizabeth – my nickname for her is “Georgie” (no idea why…just always called her this) |
