Yummy Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip

I am a dip kind of person.  I could just eat dip for a meal…any kind really.  Some of my favorite kinds are spinach-articoke dip, nacho dip and the one I am featuring today – buffalo chicken wing dip! Have a look:

If you have never tried this, now is the time!  Serve the dip with celery to go low-carb or with Tostitos Scoops for the crunch!  You could also substitute blue cheese dressing for the ranch, but I chose ranch as it is what I had on hand.  Here’s the rest of the recipe:

Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip

2 chicken breast halves, cooked and shredded or just use canned white meat chicken like I did!
8 ounces cream cheese
3/4 cup buffalo wing sauce (or more if you like it spicy)
3/4 cup blue cheese or ranch dressing
1-1 1/2 cups shredded three cheese blend (I used cheddar)
Place all ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and heat on high, in one minute increments, until heated through, smooth, and creamy. Place in a crock pot on low to keep warm. You could also bake it in the oven like I did for 30 minutes at 350 degrees until the dip gets all bubbly like this:
Serve with celery or chips.  It has a bit of a zip, but you could always adjust this as needed.  I think 3/4 cup wing sauce is not all that spicy for my taste.  I happen to love it spicy! Now…go and enjoy!

That was my dinner after working out Monday! Yummy! Definately “low-fat it” – is that a new word?? I used low-fat cheese although used the regular cream cheese, but I am sure it would taste just as good. And use celery as this is “Jeannie approved!” Hehe!
