Supplies Needed
a pipe cleaner or even a string will do
8-10 sheets of tissue paper (this will make one tissue paper pom pom, fewer sheets for a smaller one)
scissors
ribbon or clear thread or string for hanging pom pom
Directions
1. Stack eight sheets of 20 x 20 tissue. The Dollar Tree has packs for a buck! Make 1 1/2-inchwide accordion folds, creasing hard with each fold.
2. Fold an 18-inch piece of floral wire or pipe cleaner as I used in half, and slip over center of folded tissue; twist. With scissors, trim ends of tissue into rounded or pointy shape.
3. Separate layers, pulling away from center one at a time.
