My Summer Mantel Reveal: Say Hello Yellow!

I can hardly believe it is time to switch seasons soon!  Summer is most definitely on the way – isn’t that fabulous!?! Flip flops and picnics, here I come!
I switched over my fireplace mantel decor today from spring to summer.  I chose to use blues and yellows.  I created a bunch of art to use on the mantel…please say HELLO YELLOW!

This is some art I created… I will share the tutorial this week with
you so you can make this, too! Isn’t it fun?

Oh yeah!

Some more art I created with some paint, stencils and on a fabric canvas!
Easy subway art!

The largest piece of chevron artwork is also one I created…so much better than it was in it’s original form:

More on this later as well!

This is simply an old window and some chalkboard paint

The blue pails are yard sale finds

Spray painted this baby, too

Shells by the seashore

Can’t wait for vacation this year!

May your Memorial Day Weekend be filled with all your favorite summer pleasures!

  6. Libby,
Thanks for your kind words! So many times I find a nice canvas with an old or ugly picture on it…why waste the canvas? I honestly will paint just about anything so this worked! Anything for the cause! Glad you found me here – nice to meet you!
