So…life has been exceptionally busy this week. Tonight was the first night Chris was home before 8 pm so I actually got to see him. It’s always nice to see your husband. Tomorrow we have a date night! That is much needed! So…in all the busyiness not much has been done around the house. I think all my energy went into my home showing last week as I feel a little bit slumpy. No news on that yet either by the way. I suppose my old adage for this home-selling adventure still rings true … always the bridesmaid and never the bride. I am assuming here, but if you wanted the home, wouldn’t you move quickly? I know I would!
So….I began some new projects tonight. I picked up this very cool little wood crate at a yard sale the other week. It was natural wood and in the FREE pile. Yee ha. That had me written all over it. So with some stain and some paint and stencils, this little project was created and now the crate holds my magazines, TV remotes and some lovely black-eyed susans. A cute freebie! Goes to show you just never know what you are going to find!
Please excuse my messy slipcovered couch in the background.
I just couldn’t be bothered with that tonight.
Old crates are my friends.
Aren’t they fun?
