I have a few pieces of furniture in the basement that have been there fa-ev-ah. Pieces I wanted to use or redo, but simply haven’t made the time. I am sure I am not alone. So…in trying to assess what I have, I found this little cutie. I can’t even remember how long I have had her.
Sorry the picture is so dark … my basement has
the poorest of lighting!
Regardless of the lighting, I am sure you can see that
this is a cute antiqued rocker.
So….I have still been having fun with my new chalk
paint so this ended up being a project piece to try out
my goodies. I am in love with that chalk paint!
It is so different than any other paint!
Distressing is a dream.
Check it out:
Love that old farmhouse feel.
I used Annie Sloan’s Old White, clear wax and a whole lotta love.
Then distressed her.
I feel like it needs something else though…some more oomph.
I just love that word OOMPH.
But I digress, any suggestions anyone?
I know a nice little pillow will help,
but I would love your feedback.
Send some oomph my way please!
