Nautical Neil: A Fun Dresser Redo!

I had picked up this dresser a few months back and had a vision for it from the get-go.  Then it sat.  I just wasn’t married to my original idea.  I wasn’t feelin’ it.  So…finally I was bit by the inspiration bug last week (it just comes out of nowhere…I swear!) and my new vision was born.  I had wanted to paint a dresser a dark navy blue for some time so this fit the bill.  Here is the before of the dresser:

I know it is a lousy pic and I am sorry for that.
Do you see the pulls.
Really not pretty…or salvagable.
So…needless to say this cool antique waterfall-style dresser needed some time and attention.
I was game.
I am ALWAYS up for a good redo.
How about now?
Is this better?
Please meet Nautical Neil!

He is a pretty boy I know.
He should be after all the freezing cold time we
spent together in my basement.
I think it was well worth the frostbite though.
He is up for sale at the Blessed Nest if you are interested…head right over and see!
