I caught myself the other day thinking about the fact that Valentine’s Day is coming…I really thought I had plenty of time to do my mantel for the holiday and then I realized it was just 3 weeks away! NOW was the time!!! So, I stopped everything I was doing and decorated ‘er up!
I basically used the basics of my winter mantel and tweaked it a bit. I think it is pretty…what do you think?
Oooooo…I am in L-O-V-E!
Here’s to hoping for a hot date with my husband to commemorate the occasion!
Happy Valentine’s Day!

I love the wreath in the frame. The chalkboard framed is a great idea to keep from one season to the next. I’m your newest follower. If you get a chance check out my makeshift mantle at http://www.thenymelrosefamily.blogspot.com/2012/01/makeshift-valentines-mantle.html
could you pretty please post a “how too” for your beautiful red wreath??????? I want one!
Hi Stacey! Super excited to see your guest post over at Homemaker on a Dime today but I don’t see one link back to your blog here or at the Blessed Nest 🙁
You might wanna see why there is none linked or you will miss the traffic here.

Your mantle looks awesome. I love the depth and the different layers. I have not done anything yet. Time is flying.
