I know Valentine’s Day has passed, but thought I would share some things I did for my kids as well as the Child Care Center in which I work with you today! I work as the Director of a large Center with 110 students and 18 staff! We like to go all out for the holidays of course so we decided to decorate with some felt garlands. These are very easy to make and turned out really cute! The kids loved them and just couldn’t keep from trying to jump up to touch them!
Here’s what you need to make them – felt cut into
varying size circles, yarn, hot glue and gun, and scissors.
Cut the circles and string to the desired length and
then hot glue to circles
together with the sting in the center.
Very easy, cute and festive for any holiday!
I made these cute paint chip bookmarks for Ana’s class – thank you paint department!
There are heart cutouts on each color and a ribbon
through the top. Found this idea on Pintrest and had fun with it! The kids really liked them as well!
And for Ana’s classroom snack, we made
some fun jello boats!
I used berry blue jello, mandarin oranges, whipped
cream, toothpick and scrapbook paper for the sails!
The kids really thought these were super cool and I definitely earned some Mommy bonus points!
Woo hoo!
We struggled to get a sitter so we ended up going on a family date last night and hit the local mexical restaurant – it was yummy! We gave the girls some goodie bags and they were quite pleased with them! It was a very good day for all!
Hope you had a nice day as well!
