Inspired Dresser Makeover: Say Hello To Joyful Julia!

So…in the great big world of blogging, there is
MUCH inspiration to be found.
Have you noticed?
For example, have you heard of a site
called Pinterest?
Of course you have.
You would have to be living under a rock not to.
In addition, in the world of blogging, you also
meet some very cool people.
Cool people who inspire and encourage you.
I was inspired by this dresser makeover by
Julia of 551 East Furniture Design:
Utter sweetness.
I kinda have a thing for polka dots as it is.
So…I wanted to give this idea a whirl.
But I want Julia to get all the credit.
Here’s where I started:
Cute little dresser.
It was a great find.
I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with it at first.
I allowed some ideas to roll around in mind and
decided to try the
 dresser I had pinned.
I was in love with those dots!
Here is what I created:

Her name is Joyful Julia after Julia at
551 East Furniture Design.
Isn’t that fitting name?

I found you whilst googling images of painted dressers with dots (oh the things you find!) and this is exactly how I’m picturing the dresser on the kids room. I cant wait to start my project now – thank you for sharing. Im your newest follower too – I would love you to visit me when you have a minute.
