I told you I would try my best to share my latest project with you and despite the late time of night and rainy weather nearly all weekend, I finished my project so I could share with you. Remember I told you yesterday about this set of chairs I picked up at Salvation Army?
A little repair and light cleaning was all they needed.
I was so happy to find such great chairs.
If you have been checking out my Creative Inspirations party this week, you may have seen this link:
This Vintage Sewing Room was submitted by Deanne of Five Brothers One Sister.
It was one of my most favorite links!
I would love a sewing room like this.
Well, I don’t know how to sew really, but maybe a craft room like this anyway.
I was instantly inspired.
Did you notice those darling chairs?
How stinkin’ cute.
And they have polka dots!
L-O-V-E me some polkas.
I decided I had to recreate them!
This is why I was so thrilled to find those pretty chairs!
My project had the green light.
I came up with something very similar….
please excuse the lighting.
I had to take my pictures inside tonight!
I rarely do that, but without sun and without
Picnik, I was lost.
How about these apples?
The chairs are way cuter than they look.
If I were outside, you would be able to tell, but trust me, they are cute.
My girls were so excited when I was painting them and because they love the colors pink and blue, I’ve named them after them – I affectionaltely call the blue one the Emma Chair and the pink one the Ana Chair.
I don’t think they will have any trouble finding a home.
