$5 Dresser Makeover

I love yard sales.
I have a passion for them really.
Sometimes you have luck and find things and
sometimes you don’t.
You just never know.
The other day I found this old banged up cutie pie:

I knew it need some light repair as some veneer was missing on the top, but structurally it was sound and solid as a rock!  I really thought I needed glasses when I saw the price tag of $5.  The hardware alone was worth more than that.
SOLD!
I wanted to replace a set of dressers in my bedroom.  The dresser are really nice, but too big for my bedroom.  And several of the drawers in my dresser are STUCK!  No point in having a dresser you can’t use, now is there?

So…it was time.
I sanded, patched, painted and worked on her
over the last few days.
I just couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do with her.
It was a figure it out as you go-kind of project.
I am definitely flexible when I work and
not at all type A.

I originally was going to keep the pulls it came with, but changed them out instead.
I wanted to jump on the two-toned furniture bandwagon so this is how she came out:
I handmixed the paint.
I dry brushed the drawers.
I like how it all came out.
She is just perfect for my bedroom.
