The kids and staff at the daycare center I direct put on a talent show yesterday for the parents. They modeled it after American Idol and allowed the children to use their gifts and talents (as the Lord has blessed us with) to come up with their own little skit of some type. The Idol competition was fully equipped with three judges as well – Paula, Randy and of course Simon played by yours truely. My Emma competed in two acts – one was singing and the other was tumbling and I happened to catch one on my phone. Thought I would share with you. Here is Emma (in the pink and white shirt) and her best buddy Peyton doing their thang:
I purchased this cute desk the other day from the same man who sold me the antique sideboard…remember this beauty?
I still have that on my to-do list and I cannot wait to begin!
In the meantime, The Blessed Nest has a show coming in October and it is time to get ready.
Well, that delicious sideboard came with a sibing.
Here she is all ready to go to the show:
A pretty little yellow desk with a polka dot chair.
It is a pretty combination.
Sorry for no before shots…I was hurrying right along to finish this one up.
I wish the camera captured the actual color of the desk which I am sure it did not. The color is playful and fun and much brighter than pictured here.
The yellow is perfect don’t you think?
