‘Tis The Season Holiday Link Party 2012: Christmas Mantels

Welcome to the first linky party of the ‘Tis The Season 2012 Holiday Link Party series!  This is going to be one happening party and I am sure you will be thankful that you came by to inspire and be inspired!  I have teamed up with 9 other lovely ladies to bring you a fabulous series of holiday-themed parties!  We are going to have a blast!  Here’s the skinny of who you will find at the party:
Bliss of Bliss Ranch
Jessica of Dear Emmeline
Lindsey of Southern Lovely
Julia of 551 East
and of course, me…Stacey of Embracing Change!

It would be wise to click on over right now and follow these ladies
so you don’t miss a thing!
And one last reminder before we get to today’s theme of
Christmas mantels…

Now you know the deal so do plan to come by to inspire us with your posts and to be inspired by the posts of other amazing ladies!

I chose to blog about the theme of Christmas mantels namely because I adore my fireplace mantel and every season, I have a ball decorating it!

I had fun decorating my mantel this year, too and even took the time to handcraft some things for it.
Have is my Christmas mantel…

I am the queen of thrifty.  I purchased this window for 50 cents as a yard sale this summer.  I repainted it to make it cute.  I made the yarn ball wreath also.  Love it!  It is soft and has great texture and color!  I will post a tutorial on how to make it this week.

So cozy!

These are my no-sew DIY burlap stockings I created this week – click HERE to see how I made them.

Old boxes are my friend.

A chippy chair for my snow buddy.
I collect snowmen.

I enjoyed putzing around with it this year.
I can’t wait to see your mantels!

The only request I have for you…could you put this button in your post so others can find the party?

Let’s ROCK!

  15. Love your mantel decoration! It looks great! I can’t wait for the yarn wreath tutorial. Where do you find old wooden boxes like that? Also, love the lantern! I found a couple windows like that at a garage sale this summer. Probably won’t have time to be able to paint and use for this Christmas but maybe next year. I don’t have a mantel in my house, but I planning to use my piano top as a mantel. Hoping to get it decorated today and then will link up! :)
