As you know, I recently moved to the Lancaster County, Pennsylvania area. I was beyond thrilled to find out the other day that a local shop sells Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk paint. I have been wanting to try this paint since it came out, but simply didn’t take the opportunity to do so. I hate paying shipping fees honestly. That’s just it. So when I found out I could just drive 20 minutes to pick it up, I did just that. I came home with my prize.
Needless to say, I was pleased as punch.
I found the perfect piece to try it on…a gorgeous sideboard I purchased from the weekend’s yard sale…one of the best finds E-VAH!
She is really stunning.
A natural beauty..and in fabulous condition.
I rushed to her when I saw her sprawled out on the front yard with a sale tag on her.
I tried to look non-chalant…but it was out of urgency. I expected to see a SOLD tag on her (Oh how I hate those), but alas, she was still for sale at a price so good, I can’t even tell you.
I couldn’t wait to try my new milk paint on her. I chose to use French Enamel which is a lovely blue shade in Miss Mustard Seed’s line.
I am BEYOND pleased with the results…
This paint is DA BOMB.
She sold quickly…good thing because I would hate to have to keep her.
You betcha I will picking up some new colors soon.
I will tell you more about how I did this piece soon…stay tuned!
