Welcome to the Creative Inspirations Linky Party!

Are you all ready for Christmas?
I surely am not.
We picked up our tree tonight so I am getting started, but I haven’t done a lick of shopping.
Honestly, the holiday is one I want to enjoy and focus on Jesus.
No commercialism for me please.
Just the simple joy of the birth of out Savior.

Thanks for coming to the party!

I am in the midst of my own makeover so I am itching to see what you have been up to!

Please link up anything you have created – DIY projects, crafts, room makeovers, recipes, furniture redos… …
simply any inspired creation!  You can also link up your thrifty finds!
Here are a few guidelines to follow:

* Be sure to follow me on Bloglovin’, Facebook, Hometalk, Twitter, by RSS feed, e-mail subscription, or Google +!
There are lots of ways!
*Please link up the specific post rather than your homepage
* Please no Etsy, Pinterest roundups, or other linky
parties or giveaways!
*You may link up to three posts
* Please link back to Embracing Change by posting my blog button or text link so others can see where to party!
* Visit some links and make some new blogging friends. It would be great to aim to visit the person in front of you and behind you!
* Come back to see if you have been featured!
Please be sure to add my button or text link to your post. I greatly appreciate when you do this. This is how
others find out where the party is!
My button is on my sidebar and it looks like this:

  1. Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love giving special gifts, though receiving isn’t that important to me at all. My husband and I put together gift bags for patients in our local nursing home who spend the holiday alone. We don’t exchange gifts with eachother, this is gift enough. The birth of Christ really does get overlooked, doesn’t it?

  2. I’ve been enjoying making Christmas Vignettes from my collections of vintage junk, having fun too. Thanks for hosting. A quieter season with time to reflect. Thank you for hosting. Have a good week.

  3. That picture with the car with the tree coming out of the roof is great.
I love Christmas but this year things are happening at a snails pace.
Things are a little quieter and simpler this year at our place.
Thanks for letting me join the party.

  4. This year my mantra is simplify and focus on exactly what this celebration is for – Christ’s birth. I love the picture of the car with the tree – that takes me back – thank you for hosting. Cathy

  5. Stacey, I hope you are enjoying getting ready for the holidays with your beautiful family….thank you for hosting the party!

  6. I haven’t done any shopping either and I’m hoping to stay away from all of the big stores completely. I am enjoying peeking at others holiday decor and looking forward to “down time” with family and friends. Jesus IS the reason for the season! Blessings to you this week dear Stacey, Patti

  7. I have been thinking about purchasing the white couch from Ikea. So I was very interested to read your blog and see your photos of the couch. But then I saw a different white couch with throw pillows on the back. Was there something wrong with the Ikea couch? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ????
