Beautiful Blue

birdseye beforeI got lucky the other day when I scored this fantabulous dresser.
It was in great shape overall -the wood was in great condition.

The only issue I had was that the one drawers stuck a bit…I was able after a bit of detective work to figure out why
this was so and to fix the issue.
Fixing pieces and prepping them for their makeovers certainly is work.
I was anxious to get painting this one.

I chose to use Valspar’s Indigo Cloth … the color is a cross between a royal and navy blue.
This was the perfect piece to try this amazing color on…I painted it, distressed it and sealed it up in clear wax.
I added some A-DOR-ABLE blue and white ceramic knobs from D. Lawless Hardware…do you see the precious cows on them?
My inner Lancaster child was happy. What perfect knobs for this awesome piece…how cute does it look now?
