Boxwood Milk Paint Buffet

I scored this stinkin’ awesome mahogany buffet from a gal I know…
I loved it the second I laid eyes on it.
It was so beautiful with all her dark wood and graceful curves.
They just don’t make them like they used to!
She was glorious piece of furniture.
And heavy, too.
I couldn’t wait to get started on her…

I was a bit stuck trying to choose a color for her…I considered white, but I feared I would experience bleeding through and my buffet would turn pink.  I considered black too…and grey.

Then a  friend suggested Miss Mustard Seed’s Boxwood Milk Paint for her.
Of course. It was the PERFECT choice.

Three coats of Boxwood milk paint, some distressing and a few coats of Hemp Oil and she was done.

I delivered her to the shop on a Monday and within 24 hours, she was SOLD!
I guess someone else liked her, too.
