I managed to finish up a lovely piece I had milk-painted yesterday…all it needed today was some sanding, distressing and Hemp Oil.
I used Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint and I custom-mixed up two colors I had partial bags of – French Enamel and Kitchen Scale.
One of the things I love about milk paint is that the paint dries so quickly…I also love how easily it distresses and how SMOOTH it feels after it has been fine sanded.
It feels almost silky…and who wouldn’t love that?
This is one of those pieces that my before picture disppeared into the Twilight Zone after I had to unexpectedly restore my IPad (thus losing all my pictures) so the before picture is missing, but I think you can still appreciate the after.
I think this desk is so handsome now…a real class act:
If you are local to the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area…this piece is for sale for $160 over on my Facebook page The Blessed Nest…visit that page to see more information.
