So I am on day 4 of being sick and it is no picnic.
You see, I am not a good sick person.
I have a hard time laying around and resting and stuff.
I mean, I have done plenty of that the last few days, but laying around is just not in my nature.
I am a mover and groover.
| So despite being sick, I had to slowly try my darndest to plug away at my chosen project.
Remember this stunning cabinet I had showed you a few weeks back?
Well, it took some time, but I finished her up yesterday.
I am excited to show you so without further ado….
here she is!
I painted her with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in French Linen … one of my favorite colors …It is a taupey-grey perfect for literally ANYWHERE.
It is SUCH a practical color and I am a gal who is all about PRACTICALITY.
So needless to say, French Linen and I get along well.
I painted the inside in a cream to compliment the French Linen. I distressed the cabinet all over and kept her gorgeous original hardware.
I always keep the hardware when possible by the way…that’s my Tip of the Day 🙂
My favorite parts of this amazing cabinet are the turned legs, the intricate fretwork and all the little details I was able to distress out.
Distressing is really when the magic happens.
I think she is FABULOUS now!
A true beauty!
