Antique White Buffet Makeover

I purchased the most beautiful buffet the other day.
I found it on Craigslist and it was a little above my typical furniture budget.
Fortunately the sellers on Craigslist are open to reasonable offers.
I generally always make fair offers if I can 🙂

Never be afraid to do so…what is the worst than can happen?
I sent my best offer and they were open to accepting it 🙂
I was so happy they did!

Check out this BEAUTY!

Beautiful buffet BEFORE - Embracing ChangeWhoa mama.
Isn’t she spectacular?
I knew she would look amazing with some paint.

I also knew she was going to be a CHORE to paint.
This is one BIG girl.
After some blood, sweat and tears I was able to finish her up this week…and the end result was TOTALLY worth all the hard work.

I used Benjamin Moore’s Antique White and distressed her heavily…I wanted to highlight her amazing features and details.
Look at how her awesome acorn-shaped drop pulls POP now!
I used Annie Sloan’s Clear Wax to seal the entire piece up and I used Miss Mustard Seed’s Hemp Oil to freshen up the inside of her doors as the wood was in nice shape.

What do you think about this BIG BEAUTIFUL GAL now??
