I found this gorgeous empire dresser from a furniture friend of mine that was selling it.
You see … she cleans out estates and then resells amazing piece of furniture like this.
It is good to have friends like her.
I loved this one the second I laid eyes upon it.
I have an affinity for empire dressers you see.
This one was just so beautiful….I simply couldn’t resist!
My plan from the start was to use Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint.
I knew she would look amazing in milk paint!
I decided to use my current favorite color – a color called Schloss.
A gorgeous shade of grey with a warm beige undertone.
Such a fantastic color!!
The PERFECT shade for this stately piece!
I also used Miss Mustard Seed’s Bonding Agent in the paint to be sure the paint would adhere well as the piece had a shine to it.
I finished up the dresser in a few coats of Miss Mustard Seed’s Hemp Oil.
What a beauty!
I wish I could keep this beauty, but alas…I can’t keep them all!
She is available for sale at Fresh Vintage by Amy in Strasburg, PA for $350.
I know she will find a good home someday 😉
