I almost didn’t buy this piece to redo.
I don’t know why, but she didn’t impress me much at first.
This buffet had great bones, BUT she was much more traditional than I typically like.
But…..after two minutes of staring at her and sizing her possibilities up, I decided to go for it.
I was starting to run through all the colors she would look smashing in … know what I mean?
I chose to paint her in a favorite color of mine…one I don’t use too terribly often yet I still adore.
The PERFECT color!
Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Tricycle is a fabulous color!
I mixed up a batch with some Bonding Agent because I didn’t want it to chip too much.
She painted up so nice…I just love milk paint!
I distressed it and then soft sanded it with a fine grit sanding block at the end and then sealed it up in a few coats of Miss Mustard Seed’s Hemp Oil.
That’s the magic!
