I found this cutie on Craigslist the other day….her cool inlay on the front door drew me in.
I loved all those cool details!
I couldn’t decide what color to go with, but I knew for sure I wanted to use Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint.
Hmmmm…which color of the 25 would I choose?
Sometimes color comes easy to me and sometimes not.
I finally settled on Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Shutter Grey.
I used the bonding agent as I didn’t want a chippy look.
I sealed it up in Miss Mustard Seed’s Hemp Oil when I was finished.
It is one of my favorite colors…I just knew it would look amazing on this piece.
My plan was to leave the wooden inlay natural as to highlight some of that lovely wood.
I just love how she came out!
I used a deep blue on the inside of the cabinet and then dry brushed a coat of the shutter grey milk paint on the inside to tone it down a bit.
Whatever dishes or accessories that would be stored and displayed inside sure are going to POP!
She’s a looker for sure!
She’s looking lovely in her new digs.
