Tricycle Milk Painted Chest

She started a little like this…

Tricycle Dresser - Embracing Change

She was pretty cute with potential, but so dull.
She needed some zip and some zing.
She needed some RED.

I used Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Tricycle on her base and refinished the top with a dark walnut stain.
That oak grain was just too pretty to fully paint over.
I left her wood knobs as they were…I like the tall oak chests with those rustic wood knobs.
So charming :)

I distressed it a bit and then sealed it up in Miss Mustard Seed’s Hemp Oil.
Look how she POPS now!
LOVE THAT RED!
