This piece has a story.
I was scheduled to pick it up on a Monday morning at 9 am once my kids were on the bus and headed into school.
I thought it was a good plan, BUT plans don’t always go as planned do they?
I loaded this with the help of the gal I purchased it from and then got into my Jeep to leave, but as soon as I shifted it into reverse, my brake pedal went to the floor.
I knew immediately something wasn’t right.
So there I am … stranded in a stranger’s driveway first thing Monday morning.
I arranged to have a mechanic come fix it on site as it was suspected that my brake line had gone bad (which was the case)
and he was able to get out to fix it Wednesday.
So…there my car sat in this gracious woman’s driveway for two entire days.
Bless her soul.
She was so kind.
Once I finally was able to get my Jeep fixed and thus get the desk transported home, I was able to get started on it.
I think I forgot to get a before picture though…please forgive me.
Under the circumstances, I think I just forgot.
But needless to say, it was a very cool desk with great potential.
I added a little Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Boxwood, distressing, and sealed all that goodness up in Miss Mustard Seed’s Hemp Oil.
I used the Bonding Agent too.
He was really QUITE awesome then
