Kitchen Scale Dresser Makeover

I liked the look of this dresser when I saw it posted for sale.
I thought I could pretty her up a bit.
She certainly needed a makeover….and new knobs, too!

Kitchen Scale Dresser - BEFORE - Embracing ChangeShe was a cool piece to makeover, too!
She is quite the solid and sturdy old gal and I knew she was going to have a great chance at a second life :)
I painted her with Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Kitchen Scale which is a fantastic turquoise – so rich and lovely!
I distressed her (of course!) and then sealed her up in Miss Mustard Seed’s Hemp Oil to finish her up.
I was sure to add Miss Mustard Seed’s Bonding Agent as well to the mix to assure she wouldn’t come out too chippy!

I removed those crazy looking pulls and added some antique glass knobs I had leftover from another project.
They suited her perfectly.

She is SO GORGEOUS now!

Have a look…

I would love if you would stop by to check her out!
