Stunning Old White Buffet

This buffet was STUNNING when I picked her up.
She was pretty even then.
That isn’t always the case, but it was for this big beauty.
I knew I had to add some hardware on the doors, but I was perfectly ok with that.

My husband was a doll as he picked her up for me after a work meeting the other day…I figured he was out that way so why not?
Multitasking can be either good or a curse…I wonder what his opinion is???

This gal is awesome.
Solid wood, large and amazing.
I was pretty excited to get to work on her!
I chose to go simple and clean and painted her up in Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint in Old White.
That is a color you can’t go wrong with!
I used a heavy hand to distress her as I wanted her details and curves to POP!
I sealed her up in Annie Sloan’s Clear Wax when I had the distressing just the way I wanted it.

Isn’t she LOVELY???

  1. She is simply stunning, Stacey….I have to tackle the dresser that I’ve been wanting to do for three years. I must get it done!
