Hi friends!
We are settling in over here after moving in two weeks ago.
I still have boxes to unpack primarily in the garage and basement, but the all the rooms in the house are generally unpacked.
I am now in the process of trying to figure of what works where and so on and so forth.
Of course the first step is getting into the house and settling in and then the second step will involve putting my touch on it.I am so excited to do so as we rented before and although we did a select few things, what we could do or wanted to spend money doing was limited as it wasn’t ours.
Now things are different and I am excited about the possibilities!
I thought I would pop by to share a few things with you about our new place.
We moved in two weeks ago after a crazy and intense few months of house hunting.
We live in Lancaster County, PA and this great town has been reported as the place with the most active real estate market IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY.
Whoa.
I have to tell you…I believe it.
We had every type of scenario happen to us…we missed out on some homes, had offers refused others and ran into issues with all sorts of things.
Homes in Lancaster go within 24 to 48 hours I tell ya.
You can’t breathe…once a house comes on the market you better lace up those sneakers and get to it.
It was crazy.
My family was PRETTY stressed out as you can imagine.
It was no House Hunters that’s for sure!
Anyway, I will have to share our story with you about how the Lord guided this house hunting journey next time as it’s such a great story.
In the meantime, I thought you may like to se a few pictures that I snapped of the house right after we came from our settlement and before we moved in any boxes.
Here are a few pictures…
Our cute new cape cod
We fell in love with this house from the second we laid eyes upon it.
Safe to say we are pretty happy to be here.
I’ll be back with more once we finish unpacking!!
Goodnight friends!
