While we are getting settled into the new house I thought it would be fun to show you some pieces that I refinished that I apparently hadn’t shared before.
Likely due to having NO TIME and having to PACK UP MY ENTIRE LIFE to move 😉
Likely excuse, huh???
I managed to paint up a cute dresser that I thought would be a perfect fit for my 13-year-old daughter Emma’s new bedroom.
She had a pink tall chest, but I didn’t think it would go so well with her new color scheme of greys and yellows.
She chose that combination of colors – she is truly my little decorator!
I had intended to paint and sell this chest, but I thought it may work best in her new space.
I painted it very neutral in Annie Sloan’s Old White to match her bedframe.
In my eagerness to begin, I suppose I forgot to snap a before picture.
Sorry about that!
Think boring and then you will have a good idea of the before 🙂
I painted, distressed and sealed up this really cute dresser in Annie Sloan’s Clear Wax and then added some serious bling with my favorite cut glass knobs from D. Lawless Hardware.
They are perfection!
This dresser is just perfect for my Emma Grace now…
Decorating a new house is so fun!
It makes all the hard work and preparation really pay off 🙂
