If you read my blog or follow me on Facebook you are well aware of how much I LOVE Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint.
It is my favorite paint to work with by far!
There are SO MANY great things about it!
It seems when Fall rolls around, I have the desire to paint in black.
It must be the change in weather and the anticipation of crisp, cool nights (which ironically we haven’t yet experienced in Lancaster County as it has been so crazy warm since Fall arrived).
There is something about anticipating October.
Enter this piece…
I know it looks like a desk, but I assure you it is not.
Well, unless you are Andre the Giant I suppose 😉
It is a large and beautiful buffet with a unique look.
I purchased this after finding it for sale on a local Facebook sale site – I knew she needed to be a sultry black when I found her.
I mixed up a batch of Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Typewriter which is a fantastic color to work with.
Surely one of my favorites 🙂
I like to mix up my milk paint in glass jars so I am constantly washing and saving mine rather than pitching them in the recycling can.
Three coats later, I was ready to distress this lovely lady.
I did mix up my paint with the Bonding Agent as I wanted didn’t want this piece to have any chipping paint.
I sealed up the buffet in Miss Mustard Seed’s Hemp Oil when I was finished.
I don’t think she could have turned out any more beautiful.
She is striking!
If you are hunting for a beautiful sophisticated buffet, you may wan to check this one out!
She is available to be purchased at Blue Dandelion by Tiffany in quaint Strasburg , PA for $409.
