I have a few pieces of furniture that I have refinished in the recent past that I simply never shared.
I suppose I don’t show everything I have done on this page because to be honest…I have painted A LOT of pieces in the last five years mind you and not all are really shareworthy in my opinion.
This one is though as I adore the yellow…but she never made the blog until today.
I couldn’t find a BEFORE picture on this one, but that’s ok because you can imagine it I’m sure.
I wanted this sweet antique drum table to have a little pop of color so I chose to use Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint in Arles which is a gorgeous shade of yellow.
It was the perfect color!
I painted it with three coats, distressed it in all the right places and sealed the entire table up in Annie Sloan’s Clear Wax buffed to a lovely sheen.
I added an adorable distressed white knob from Hobby Lobby on the drawer.
Isn’t she just cute as a button?
Honestly I kinda would have liked to keep it for my living room, but you know how that goes…
you can’t keep it all 😉
