I liked this desk for her simple lines and those awesome oval pulls – I could envision her painted up in a lighter and brighter color.
She was much too dark and drab although she was structurally very sound.
She just needed something to bring her up-to-date.
The easiest way of course is PAINT.
So…I chose to paint her up in a color I really like –
Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Shutter Grey – it is a super soft blue-grey milk paint color that I love.
Honestly, I adore all the milk paint colors!
I just REALLY LOVE the one I am working with at the time the BEST of all, but they are all superb!
I painted this desk in three coats, soft sanded and distressed the edges and details and then sealed it up with Miss Mustard Seed’s Hemp Oil.
She’s truly BEAUTIFUL now!
She’s such a pretty desk – what an improvement paint can make!
Wow, it is given a new life.
