I scored this AMAZING dresser last month – in fact, I knew it was a nice piece when I emailed about it, but it was EVEN BETTER than I expected once I went to pick it up!
It was a VERY HAPPY surprise!
Love that 🙂
I wanted to salvage the wooden knobs, but I couldn’t because they were on dowels and I knew I wouldn’t be able to find replacements for them so sadly I had to (painstakingly) remove them – it was work to remove the original dowels, but I was able to replace those cool knobs with some pretty amazing hardware – cut glass knobs from D. Lawless Hardware!
They are my favorite and you can purchase them HERE.
You will not be disappointed!
The finished look I was going for was smoky, dramatic and elegant.
I think I achieved that!
I painted this beauty up in Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint in Graphite with distressing and then sealed it up in Annie Sloan’s Clear Wax.
Oh my word…my heart is definitely beating faster now!
How about this stunner?
Oh and these pictures also offer a sneak peek at my new planked wall we just finished up!
More to come on that later 🙂
So now I want to paint everything I own in this color!
The perfect smoky charcoal color!
I hope you love it, too!
Have a blessed weekend friends 🙂
