Good morning all!
I am literally packing this moment to leave for vacation in one hour, but I wanted to leave you with the end results of project I just finished up this past weekend and sold yesterday..
this was a labor of love for sure.
Dining sets always are.
I mean sweat, tears and frustration and all…I wish I was exaggerating.
Did I mention I am a hand-painter?
I have purchased a sprayer to use for tedious things like chairs, but I haven’t broken open the box yet!
Yes, I make no sense at all.
So…I purchased this cut, but typically boring dining room set from someone off Craigslist and revamped it into something pretty special…I think she’s pretty amazing now!
I used the Joanna Gaines paint line Magnolia for this set – Carter Crème – this was my first crack at that paint and I really did like using it although distressing it was pretty difficult – it didn’t distress easily like chalk paint, but then again, I didn’t have the sanding mess of chalk paint so there’s that.
I would recommend giving it a try!
Isn’t this set lovely?
I just ADORE it!
I delivered it to a gal yesterday and I know she will just LOVE it…and that makes all the work totally worthwhile!
I will be back next week after I fully recharge in the sun and relax by the ocean – have a great week, friends!
