Oh my heart.
When I saw it posted for sale on Craigslist, my fingers responded to the ad in record speed.
It was simply amazing.
Ireally loved the lines, details and hardware.
I thought it had a soft romantic and feminine look.
The seller emailed me back (yes!) and we were in business!
So excited for this one!
The sellers even loaded her up in my car – it was pretty much the easiest and nicest transaction ever.
Plus the buffet was PERFECT!
The top was pristine…not a scratch.
That NEVER happens…like ever.
I was thrilled!
I was originally thinking to paint her in a white, but my husband suggested grey.
He’s come to have a good eye with regard to pieces as I have painted up pieces over the years so why not?
I DO love grey!
Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint was the product I chose to use…I always pick to use MMS Milk Paint when the wood is beautiful … or not beautiful.
I pretty much choose to use it most of the time as it’s simply my favorite product to work with!
I used MMS Milk Paint in Schloss which is a beautiful warm grey-beige.
Bonding Agent was used in the mix to avoid excess chippiness as I wanted a smooth finish.
I chose to leave the top natural as it was so nice and there was nothing I could do to improve upon it!
After some distressing, I sealed her up in MMS Hemp Oil (also known as MAGIC) and she was finished and ready for her BIG reveal.
Isn’t this buffet FANTASTIC?
I told you she was something special.
Thanks for stopping by, friends!
Have a blessed week 🙂
